Cannot produce part or refund

Ordered a part that showed in stock 2 days after it's to have been delivered its now on back order. With no delivery date available. Still shows available on line. Called and cancelled order. Supposed to be 3-5 days for refund. Now their system is down and they cannot give me a status of my refund. I am also being told it takes 3-5 days for my refund to be approved. Then 14 days for then up to 14 days for the refund. Place is a joke. For confirmation the order was for a rear washer tub on a Samsung washer.

Sad to say this is not what I thought…

Sad to say this is not what I thought it was. I ordered a part this past Sunday on June 13 for my mower. The delivery date looked to be the 15th. My credit card was charged and I expected delivery. Since June 15 their website has been down for what is now the third day in a row. Customers are even unable to cancel any shipments they ordered. Unbelievable. This is not the Sears we’ve all come to love and trust. There’s no useful explanation online anywhere.

Parts ordered, parts canceled, run around from customer service

Had to pay in full for parts and labor before the technician left or pay another diagnostic fee of 114.00 to order the parts later. 400.00 and 3 weeks later, the parts were ordered then order canceled. Parts were shipped then shipping canceled and parts sent to sears store in Houston. Same answer over and over, wait 5 to 7 business days and call us back.
This business is a scam and a joke.

Didn't get parts and my money

Don't buy parts from this website nor from them over the phone they take your money but their vendors don't send you the parts. Their website says the parts are in stock but after you pay for them you find out that they don't have the parts

Not able to contact Customer Service

I ordered a Lawn Mower Blade and paid for expedited shipping so I could cut my yard over the upcoming weekend. I received an E-mail letting me know the product has been backordered and they would let me know when it would be delivered. Now the weekend is over. Still No Blade.

Called the Customer Service phone number listed on the E-mail they sent me, only to get a web of prompts and then disconnected. Not once, not twice, but three times. They do suggest you refer to their return policy, which states orders can be cancelled within one hour of being placed.

Of course, I placed the order and began waiting for a blade not an e-mail saying it was back ordered. If I return it, (after it arrives in the unknown future) I will then have to pay additional shipping to send it back.

Since I have not received it, and have been charged for the item I have not received, and cannot contact them for resolution, I am forced to spend MORE money elsewhere.

Good luck to those who take the chance on purchasing from this company!

Like everyone else is saying... Scam

My story reads like the rest of these people's experiences. Ordered a part for my discontinued mower over the phone April 25th, said it would be here by May 5th, call on May 4th to verify it's coming, find out they sent it to the wrong address and tell me I have to cancel and re order for it to go to the correct address and that it's on backorder now and won't be here til May 25th. It's now May 10th and I still don't have my refund so I call back 5 minutes ago and they tell me that they can cancel my first order and it will take another 1-3 for the "cancellation dept" to cancel it and then 3-5 for my refund. This is the same convo I had a week ago with someone else. I told her to cancel both and now after reading these reviews, I shouldn't hold my breath on seeing both of the refunds... Which means I will contact my attorney and attorney general's office and put fraud dispute on my card. How the hell do these people get away with this?

Great service

I panicked when I read the negative reviews on this web site. However, all of my washing machine parts arrived within 48 hours of placing the order. Great service!

Avoid Sears Warranty and parts!

I talked to 6 different people to get the recommended stacking kit. I had it express delivered since my family had been without a washing machine for 4 months, thanks to the unreliable Sears Home Warranty Service. They failed to deliver it expedited, even though I was charged an extra $30 dollars (for sending something that could have been overnight expressed for $5) to have it sent within 4 days. They failed to send it until the day it was due to arrive at my house, so I had to postpone the washer delivery for another week!

Same story as other reviews

Same story as other reviews. Website lists part as in stock, processes order, was given an expected arrival date of 7 later. Then one day before the package was said to arrive they emailed me saying that not only was the part on backorder but that the expected ship date was 60 days in the future. I called customer service to cancel the order and they assured me it was cancelled. Then a week later, still no refund, they email me the exact same email again reminding me that the part is on backorder. Now I have to call, again, in hopes they will actually cancel this time. Maybe at some point I will get my money back who knows.

Was told item in stock, month ago still not shipped

They want your money, even if item is not instock, then they just play game and asking you to wait for it. Website wasn't updated and part is not available by manufacture. Stay away!

Reliable Sears no more.

Sears was always a reliable place to shop for appliance parts for my parents, so I didn't hesitate purchasing a part from their online store. However, my recent experience was a disappointment and will not be placing any more orders from them. Sears has essentially become the middle man of the parts/distribution. No more reliable Sears.
My story: On the day of my purchase, the item was in stock (per the website) and the full amount was charged to my credit card and email stated 8-9 days for shipment arrival. Two days after this time, I received a notice that the item was now on back order - shipping tbd. I called and asked the Sears associate to cancel my order. They told me I would get a full refund in next 3-5 days. After the 6th day, I received another email that the item was again on back order. I called again to find out they didn't issue the refund and they said they were waiting on the merchant to respond. I requested Sears to cancel the order again. This time, I stayed on the phone until I received confirmation. A separate email confirmation was received that day with the cancellation and the notice including a reduction of my refund less a restocking fee (I never received item and it wasn’t shipped).
Many issues: 1) Sears website said in stock at the time of purchase; 2) charged my credit card prior to shipment or acknowledgment of back order; 3) associate lied on phone 1st with confirmation within 3 days and stated that I would receive a full refund of order; and 4) during 2nd call back, there was no mention of not receiving a full refund for the part. I'm not going to chase down $12, but this experience with Sears has lost them a customer.

Kenmore evaporator Motor

Bought our very expensive Kenmore refrigerator a lil over a year ago and it's already braking down! So unhappy. I placed the order for the part needed directly from Sears, it showed in stock, I PAID in full... then A day before it was to be delivered I got an email stating the item is on back order with NO future date of new delivery. When calling in to get some answers I was lied to... MULTIPLE TIMES i have been given the run around, I have reached out to Corporate whi has yet to return call it's been 2 weeks. Sadly these people don't care. Why should they they already got our money! I filed a complaint with OCC federal trade commission and seeking legal advice with an Attorney who can expedite it for us... now have to purchase another refrigerator!
